What you agree to when you book from abroad, and which rules decide the week you are here.
/ 4 · Nights
Almost everyone reaches this page from another country, weeks before they land. This is the short version of what is being agreed, and with whom.
These terms cover one thing: your use of this website and the booking request you send from it. The document that puts you behind the wheel is separate, signed on paper in Kutaisi with the company that owns the car, and it is the one that fixes fuel, mileage, damage and the excess. Nothing written here can edit a line of it.
We publish offers and forward requests. No car on the grid belongs to us, no counter anywhere is staffed by us, and no payment for a rental is taken by us.
A figure a supplier is advertising this minute. The board here runs from about EUR 25 to about EUR 34 a day and shifts while you read it.
The confirmation the supplier issues. Until one exists, filtering the grid and opening a car commit neither side to anything.
Low cost carriers serve this airport on a thin weekly timetable, so hire windows here are set by a return flight rather than chosen. Several clauses below exist because of that.
A booking made from abroad produces more paperwork than it appears to. When a question comes up, the answer lives in exactly one of these.
The website and the request you send through it: what you may do here, what we publish, and the narrow set of things we are answerable for. It is the only one of the four documents that we write. It is rewritten when the suppliers on the board rewrite their own conditions, and whichever version is live when your request leaves the form is the version that applies to it.
Deposit, cancellation window, delivery, mileage and the fuel rule are all set per vehicle and printed on that vehicle, which is why two answers to the same question can both be correct. On the Kutaisi board, not one of the hundred cars we sampled holds anything on the card, roughly six in ten can be cancelled at no cost, and close to nine in ten include delivery. Yours states what yours does.
Signed in person in Kutaisi, against a driving licence valid for use in Georgia, the passport that matches it, and a payment card carrying the main driver name. It carries the condition record, the excess and the return terms, and it is the point at which the vehicle becomes your responsibility. We are not a party to it and cannot amend it afterwards on your behalf.
Everything the three documents above leave open, plus anything they are not allowed to settle for themselves. Traffic penalties, the insurance a vehicle must carry, and the consumer rights a traveller cannot be asked to sign away all come from here rather than from a supplier policy or from us.
Carriers reach Kutaisi a few times a week, so a missed connection is rarely a next morning problem. These are the changes travellers actually write to us about.
| Change to the plan | What it touches | Where the rule is written |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound flight lands hours late | The delivery slot, not the booking itself | The supplier. Send the flight number with your request, because the driver times the handover against it. |
| Inbound flight cancelled and rebooked for a later day | The start date, and usually the rate | The supplier. A new date is a new agreement for it to accept, and the price is re-read off the live board. |
| You cancel before pickup | Whether anything is owed at all | The individual listing. Around six in ten here carry free cancellation and state their own window. |
| You hand the car back a day early | Whether the unused day comes back to you | The rental agreement you signed at handover, and nothing else. |
| You keep the car an extra day | The extra day and the cover behind it | The supplier, in advance. A late return nobody agreed to is a breach of the agreement rather than an extension of it. |
| The return flight moves and you need one more night | Availability before anything else | The supplier. The feed stops counting Kutaisi listings at five hundred, but the specific car you hold may already be promised to someone else. |
None of these are calls Car Hire Kutaisi is able to make for you. Write to the supplier named on your confirmation, and copy us if you want the exchange on our record as well.
A seven day hire tends to finish well before its paperwork does.
You are welcome to read, filter and compare every Kutaisi listing on this site as often as you like, from any device, without an account, and to link to any page here from your own. What is not permitted is automated collection: harvesting the feed, crawling the site for resale, or republishing our written pages under a different domain name. Nobody may hold themselves out as Car Hire Kutaisi, or as one of the suppliers on the board, when dealing with a third party.
Everything numeric here is read off the live supplier feed for this city and written as an approximation deliberately. The board stops counting at five hundred cars. The hundred we sampled ran from roughly EUR 25 to roughly EUR 34 a day, every single one of them was automatic, about half were SUV or four wheel drive shaped, and a Jeep badge turned up on about one in four. Those proportions will have moved by the time you read the sentence. An obviously mistaken listing can be repriced or pulled at any moment, and the supplier is entitled to refuse a booking placed against the mistake.
Our side of all this is small, and it is better said outright than buried: we keep this website running and we hand your request to the company whose car you selected. Beyond that we are not the answerable party. Not for how a vehicle has been maintained, not for a handover that starts late, not for a request a supplier turns down, not for a charge added at the counter, and not for the way a damage argument finally lands. Two things sit outside every limit on this page: fraud, and any liability that the law of Georgia does not allow a business to disclaim at all.
If a court strikes out one clause here, everything around it survives intact, and letting a term slide once is not the same as giving it up for good. These terms work alongside two shorter documents, which between them cover the data you send us and what this site stores in your browser.
Georgian law applies to this page and to anything that happens on this website. If a matter between you and Car Hire Kutaisi ever has to be settled by a court, that court sits in Georgia. Arguments about the vehicle itself travel a different route entirely: they follow the rental agreement, and that agreement names its own forum, normally the one local to the supplier that handed you the keys.
Travellers resident elsewhere keep every protection their own jurisdiction gives them and does not let them bargain away. None of the wording above is meant to strip one of those out, and a clause attempting it would have no effect anyway.
This page is rewritten occasionally, most often because a supplier on the board has rewritten its own conditions first. There is no individual notification when that happens. Whichever version is live at the second your request leaves the form is the one that governs it, so anybody booking again after a long gap should reread rather than assume.
Quote the reference printed on your supplier confirmation and we will reply with everything our own records hold about it. Anything kept by the supplier has to be asked for from the supplier.
This page sets the frame. The cancellation window, the fuel rule and the excess are printed on the individual listing, and the Kutaisi board is open at the top of this page.
